Products Disappeared from Amazon Search Results (4 ASINs Suddenly Missing Since End of October)

We’ve been experiencing a serious issue over the past few weeks. Towards the end of October, 4 of our ASINs suddenly disappeared from Amazon search results. These products were previously ranking on the first page for our main keywords, but now they are not showing up at all.

The affected ASINs include 4 asin.

We did not make any major changes to product titles, descriptions, or backend keywords.

We did not receive any notifications from Amazon regarding listing removal or suspension.

The disappearance from search results happened abruptly and has severely impacted our sales.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue recently? Any suggestions on how to resolve this? We have already contacted Amazon Seller Support but have not received a satisfactory response yet.

Hi @Seller_8hKRtq6ShQgB6,

If your listings still appear in your inventory but not in search results, check for notifications at the top of the inventory page—either “listings with quality issues” or “listings suppressed from search results.”

Next, go to Reports > Business Reports > Traffic and Sales by Child Item to pinpoint when the issue started. Check single-day data by setting the date range (from date = to date) and go back one day at a time to find when the drop occurred. Look for signs like a sudden loss of Buy Box share (near zero) or a drop in other KPIs like sessions.

Also, check the Price Strategy page for reference price warnings (e.g., if your product is listed cheaper elsewhere).

Hope this helps!

Check if Amazon changed the category on these ASINs. That happened to us so that they were in categories that were totally unrelated and hence the algorithm didn't see them as relevant. If that's the problem, you'll have to open a case, we could not change the category ourselves since Amazon had specified the new one.

Good Evening @Seller_8hKRtq6ShQgB6, it looks like you were able to get some support from other folks here on the forums about your products not appearing in your search results.

If any of their replies helped you, feel free to mark it as “Most Helpful reply” using the 3 dots in the corner of their post. This helps other sellers find the answer to your question at the top of the post just in case they find themselves in a similar situation.

I wanted to share my colleague @Michelle_Amazon discussion piece -->HERE<-- on how to optimizing your product listing for search results to see if any of the guidance there might help troubleshoot why your products are not visible when you search.

Also you mentioned you have raised this concern to Selling Partner Support already. I did take a look at the CASE filed and it appears the team has raised a technical ticket for one of our product teams to review. They should get back to you on CASE ID ending in 6631 within a few business days.

I would recommend continuing to monitor CASE ID ending in 6631 for updates and if it closes out and you still have concerns, please check in with us on this thread.

Hope you have a good weekend and take care.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
