Oversize FBA shipment help, how to send multiple ?
Dear Amazon team.
So we want to send 60 individually packed, labeled (as per Amazon requests, but without box) solar panels with the following characteristics to the Amazon fulfillment center.
1. Solar Panel (450w) - Dimensions: 82.9x41.2x1.5 inches, Weight: 52.9 lbs - 30pcs
2. Solar Panel (550w) - Dimensions: 90x45x1.5 inches, Weight: 57 lbs - 30pcs
do you see any problem with doing this because of the size?
So can we send them, or do we have to send only one oversized?
Can we split the shipment into 60 separate units and ship them together in one container?

Some things aren't that well suited for selling on Amazon. Unless you paid nothing for the product, you may make a profit using FBA.
- Amazon does accept over sizes products.
- They are more likely to receive damaged in the FBA center, in transit shipping to and from the FBA center, and buyer damage whether true of false.
- Returns can be very costly as you will take the loss and pay for the return.
- When the buyer complains the product is defective or not as described, (because the buyer does not know what they are doing), Amazon will first send a warning, then prohibit you from selling the product. This will lead to you paying for the product removal from the site, at Amazon's exaggerated prices.
If you send the lot, send them all in one shipping group. If you split the shipment into two separate lots, Lot #1 will be checked in as 30 on one day with your quantity changer from 60 to 30.
Then a few days they will find lot #2 and see that these have already been entered as 30 units, So this group must be an error. They have already been checked in and verified as 30. Just place a disposal tag on them and sell them out the back door. The easiest solution is always the best for Amazon. Then you complain, there are only 30 in stock, so this is a seller error. Everything is right.

Interestingly we just had a couple of solar panels delivered to our warehouse. They were on a super long pallet and not in great shape. I wouldn't trust Amazon to deliver them in usable condition. I also would seriously think about selling them at all on Amazon. Most customers don't understand LTL deliveries and aren't prepared to be present at delivery or have a way to get it off the truck.

Based on your dimensions, these look like they would be extra-large FBA inventory.
If the longest side is between 70 and 96 inches, it must be classified as Ships in Product Packaging. This means that your item should arrive at the Amazon facility in its original packaging and should be able to withstand delivery to the buyer without additional over-boxing. If the longest side is greater than 96 inches, it’s not required to be classified as Ships in Product Packaging and will be classified as extra-large.
To this question, if you're aligned with the above packaging requirements you should be able to ship them in one container.
