Building a bundle - single products exist within Amazon

If a product exists on AMZ as a single unit, can I create a new listing as a mutli-pack if the items in the multi-pack have the same UPC code as the single item in a different listing? Basically, if there is a listing for a single "widget", can I create a new listing that offers 3 of those widgets, the same ones that are in the singular offering? If that is prohibited, what are the steps needed to be able to sell that multi-pack if any?

A multi-pak would need a UPC that is different from the UPC for one.

Hello this is Christine from Amazon.

Add the product ID that represents the quantity of items contained in the package you are selling.

In retail trade, a distinction is made between a product as a single item and a product as a "sellable unit." The product ID for packs, sets, and bundles should represent the correct single sellable unit.

Amazon has recently created thousands of bundles that DO NOT have a UPC code for the bundle. Not only are they breaking their own policy, they are not allowing any third party sellers to offer these bundles. Yet another greedy, illegal, immoral, unethical B.S. move from Amazon. That is why they are being sued for billions of dollars from governments around the world.
