What do I do if the Trademark Attorney is retired and I can't get a verification code

I am trying to finish the process of registering my brand, however when I get to the verification code part it says to contact the Trademark Attorney, however we just found out that the Trademark Attorney has since retired. What can we do to try and get a different trademark attorney to get the code sent to?

If the trademark attorney is no longer working and get access to emails, you will need to update your trademark to be represented by a new attorney.

Please consult with a new attorney or another attorney in the same office of your previous attorney (if that option is available) and update the USPTO trademark. You can check more about how to do this from the USPTO help page.
