Chinese manufacturer copied my product
I'm seeking some advice on a situation I'm in with a Chinese manufacturer who has copied my product. The product itself looks strikingly identical to ours and they've even taken my hand drawn illustrations and have used it in their product listing photos. I submitted a DMCA takedown notice to Amazon since I'm brand registered, and it has been approved for one variation of their product (the other variation is still up). They sent me a pretty aggressive email subtly acknowledging they have stolen our work but at the same time demanding I revoke the notice otherwise they would take similar actions on our store and also send a DMCA counter-notice. I sent them an email back saying that my product is copyrighted and my brand is trademarked and they have clearly violated the copyright laws. I offered to solve things amicably and requested that they remove my illustrations from their photos and modify their product so that it doesn't look so identical to ours that it confuses customers. They sent me back a response saying they would do that if i revoke the DMCA takedown notice. Any advice on how to proceed? Should I revoke the notice at the risk of them not following through on their word? Is there any legitimate way to have them keep their word?

Hi @Seller_nnqcPtvRa45aE
Thanks for mentioning me on the other post here: copyright infringement case open, no response from Amazon.
I need to look into these emails and complaints you sent to get more information. Do you happen to have a case ID with all this information?

I’m going through the EXACT same thing right now as far as the strikingly similar product look. Amazon is not helping at all. It is really disappointing.
