Delivery Date Incorrect

Why is the delivery date for my newly launched FBM product set so far in the future? The product its currently showing a delivery time of one month, which is inaccurate as I fulfill and ship orders within 24 hours. I've already updated the shipping settings in the migrated template, but the listing still displays incorrect dates. Could someone provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

Depends on the postal code that you have the front end customer website set to.

If you provide the ASIN, others can check to see if they are likewise seeing overly long delivery promises.

Also, if you just updated your templates, it can take 24 hours to show up (they say it's faster; they lie).

Probably for a couple reasons --

First, you appear to be brand new so you don't have much history with Amazon. They don't have a data base of shipping and delivery times to put into their magic box of calculations.

Second, even if they do have more experience, their 'magic box calculator' is pretty much garbage so don't expect things to improve much going forward.

I have orders that will go out tomorrow (the last day allowed) and some say:

Ship by date: Thu, Oct 10, 2024 PDT

Deliver by date: Thu, Oct 17, 2024 PDT

while others with the same ship date say:

Ship by date: Thu, Oct 10, 2024 PDT

Deliver by date: Wed, Oct 23, 2024 PDT

In the meantime my packages REALLY get delivered several days earlier than Amazon thinks they should despite me shipping later to avoid all their penalties!

The picture is from a couple weeks ago but as of today I have this -- "Your carriers delivered packages on average 5.6 days before your promised transit time."

And mine are suddenly all 2nd day, or next day! I offer free shipping, for ground advantage...
