Selling in Canada
I have the north America seller account so technically I can sell in Canada, Mexico, Brazil in addition to the USA. I had to request to list in all these 3 countries since currently I only sell in the US. My request has been approved and I now have to ship to my product to fulfillment centers in these countries. I want to know if anyone here has gone through that process before I send shipment. Is shipping cost significantly higher than shipping to a US based Fulfillment centers?

Importing to Canada is tricky and costly. Do a research on Canadian governements websites.

If you are selling prime it is much easier to do cross border fulfillment from that inventory instead. What you are doing is a huge hassle as you have to take care of all the import paperwork and fees to ship to the warehouse. Amazon will not help on any part of this with paperwork or information.

I sell in Canada. Paperwork and shipping is a huge PITA. I have a third party handle it and some of the requirements and additional costs (like only being allowed to ship by air for customs clearance even though YYZ is within driving distance) leads to much higher prices for Canadian customers.
Use North American Remote Fulfilment if that's given as an option for your account, much easier to deal with as Amazon handles everything from US FCs.
