MCF order, Amazon sent wrong item to the customer, customer support saying it is us who labeled item wrong

The customer sent us photos and explained that he received the wrong item, the order was fulfilled by Amazon. (MCF order)

Initially, support stated they had no responsibility for MCF orders. Later, they requested a copy of the order, pictures of the received product, and a copy of the replacement order sent to the customer—all of which we provided. Now, support claims that the mistake was ours due to incorrect labeling, but they have not disclosed how they arrived at this conclusion, and we are expected to accept it regardless.

We never stocked the item that the customer received.

I am seeking assistance from Amazon representatives on the Seller Forum.

First -- where did this order come from ? If you were filling an Amazon merchant-fulfilled order through MCF then you have no further recourse..

Ive been there and lost my time many times on this... you better take these amazon errors s losses... SC will deny them even with all the proofs....
