Restriction on selling digital tabletop alarm clocks?

Hi everyone pls I need guidance. I created listings for tabletop digital alarm clock but a week later the listings were blocked. Reason provided was "invalid information" - "The ConditionType for SKU is invalid. See the Data Definitions tab of your inventory template for valid ConditionType options" After several back n forth with various associates unable to say what the issue really was, I finally got a message that affected ASINs were removed because the products (digital alarm clocks) were restricted. It also said that they were removed "for the safety of our customers". It then referred to help page link that talks about permitted and prohibited electronics. The page talks about various certifications. In my mind am thinking, hang on, they are hundreds of digital clocks actively listed on Amazon.ca, are you saying they ALL have these certification marks on them? Should ALL digital clocks be certified, even those that only use batteries? Most of these digital clocks are supplied my manufacturers outside Canada, especially in China and Japan. I might be wrong but I do not believe that digital tabletop alarm clocks require certification to be sold in Canada. I have many units in my inventory and am confused as to what to do and Amazon is not providing enough guidance on this issue beyond placing the burden on me to prove that my products were wrongly classified as requiring certification. Has anyone else managed this kind of problem? Please help!
