Amazon asking to ship across the country
We have been shipping LTL shipments for over 2 years. usually we get FC such as YHM1, YYZ4, YYZ7 and other FC nearby. For the psat 1 week we are only getting YEG2 or YXU1 which is quite hard to ship to. Anyone have any idea what is going on? it seems we will have to sit on the inventory or overpay to ship to these FC

This happened to us and we kept trying and recreating workflow, 3-4 times a day at different times and randomly one day we got our usual FC.

Hello @Seller_5wa3H6oQIsRfpand @Seller_YsDo15Ne92jlo
Christine from Amazon Forums here.
Thank you for the feedback, we have provided this feedback to our internal team, and we will work on this in order for our sellers to have a better experience, however we do not have an estimate date for the changes.
Currently, the workflows are working as intended, as soon as we update the workflows we will announce it.
Have a great week!
Christine :)

Same here ridiculous just to be transferred back to your original Province. I complained using the @ JB email and customer service got mad at me for not bringing this to there attention first really, this been going on for years now and have brought to there attention numerous times with no help whatsoever. There got to be a fix to this, there is numerous Fulfilment Centres right here in my Province but yet they keep shipping all the way to the last Province from me to the West taking almost 1 month for my customers to purchase any products but there not buying from me anymore no there buying from the person with two day shipping shocker lol come on AZ due better seriously.

Same here, but in the opposite direction. I'm 40 miles from the Vancouver FC but my last 6 shipments have all gone to various Ontario FCs, despite 65% of my customers being in BC. I tried the trick of re-creating shipments several times a day and after two days was able to get a Calgary destination which dropped shipping costs by 40% so I gave in at that point - but have another shipment ready to go and after 4 days still only getting Ontario FCs as an option. The irony is that my last shipment got transferred in it's entirety, back to a west coast center immediately after getting checked in. Seems like a waste of time and money, but what do I know...

Which approved LTL carriers do you guys use to ship to Amazon Canada? are there more reputable ones vs other, or ones that know what they are doing, paper work wise, standing appointments booking? etc?

I'm in Ontario. Recently, many shipments have gone to Alberta - only to immediately get transferred back to Ontario again!

Something strange is going on with Amazon. For example, their HAZMAT capacity is suddenly completely compromised. Capacities have been reduced by close to 100% for many sellers. We could understand this during COVID (exactly when such measures were first observed), but to see it again suddenly now in 2024 is strange.
They seem to be going through some kind of transition (i.e. hopefully temporary) that is throwing their shipping and storage norms off slightly.
