Account deactivated with weird reasons

On Amazon.ca, on February 20th, I listed an item under a brand that was open to sell without any restriction or brand authorization. It was simply open to sell. I listed the item there for 3 days and removed the listing on February 24th.

On March 1st, I received an IP violation complaint on Amazon.com for policy violation and removal of the listing. Although I didn't list any of that ASIN under Amazon.com, I accepted the violation since I had listed the item on Amazon.ca. After accepting the violation, the issue was resolved, and my account health was restored.

Now, after 4 months, I received a Performance Notification on Amazon.ca stating that my account is deactivated due to a counterfeit complaint for the same ASIN.

This situation seems weird because:

1. The first IP complaint for counterfeit was on Amazon.com, where I never listed this product.

2. The product was completely removed from Amazon.ca on February 24th.

3. I received this Performance Notification on Amazon.ca, 4 months later, regarding the same ASIN that was removed from Amazon.ca back in February.

The product in question is only trademarked on Amazon.com.

Can anyone tell me what might have happened here?

I have been explaining this to Amazon, but they keep giving me the same copy-pasted responses.

Regards

You mentioned you listed this product but also mentioned you didnt list any of that ASIN, are you stating that you added the product to your account but was out of stock? If this was your situation, when you add a product to your inventory, you are essentially using that brand or intellectual property without a brands permission, this by itself is considered infringement. Even if you have never added quantity to the listing, it would still be a violation.

Additionally, even if Amazon does not require "brand approval" to sell a product or brand, this does not imply it is free to be listed without prior approval. All sellers are required to follow our intellectual property policy for sellers. Violating this may result in listing or account removals.

If there is as continued concern with this ASIN or intellectual property you will be required to provide valid invoices, and or a letter of authorization to show proof of non-infringement.
