Gs1 product name conflicting amazon product title
Hii everyone
I bought a barcode from GS1 and then added the listing to amazon using this barcode.
I changed my mind after and decided to sell another product.
I just thought it's ok to use the same barcode I already bought, but amazon doesn't allow me (error 8541), even after I changed the name on GS1 site.
Can you tell me if there is available option like this, or I just need to buy extra barcode and forget about the earlier code I bought.
This is very important, because I didn't use the barcode. it's like I just threw my money away.
And if this is not available, can amazon change this rule and make it easier for sellers to reuse "unused" barcodes?

Hi @TopProBox,
Thanks for the post. Delete both your offers and item data contributions. Enter an "x" in the add-delete field in your Inventory Loader file. This will completely remove all data associated with your SKU.
This will work as long as Amazon has not locked the other UPC into your brand.
