Amazon authorized a replacement for the same ASIN but different SKU and condition.
How can Amazon authorized a replacement for the same ASIN but different SKU and condition happen. I list almost each item separately as they are used and the conditions vary as well as the supplied accessories. The item that the customer ordered was $288.88 and was sold as “Used-Good”. Amazon authorized a replacement with a different SKU (same ASIN) but the price is listed at $318.88 with the condition of “Used-Very Good” as it is in better condition and has a few more accessories.
I will have to cancel the replacement as Amazon has decided to upgrade the customer at my expense. I don’t feel that I should have to take a hit on my metrics as this is Amazon’s mistake.
Do I have any other recourse to avoid harming my metrics when I cancel?
