You need approval to sell FENRIR branded in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)
One of our listing was stranded, today. I needed to Request Approval. When I did so, the result was:
You need approval to sell:
- FENRIR branded in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)
Our listing did not have the brand “FENRIR”, our product has absolutely nothing to do with that brand FENRIR and share no similarity at all.
We sell air ventilation & filtration related products since 2020. FENRIR brand offers motorcycle mirror parts.
Amazon is asking me to provide:
– Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders or authorization letters from your supplier’s supplier issued in the last 365 days.
– If you are not the brand owner, provide an authorization letter and a complete set of documentation to prove a valid supply chain.
– If you are the brand owner, provide a copy of the brand registration certificate, and business license or personal identity card.
– Contact information for your supplier’s supplier, including name, phone number, address, email, and website.
This seems really strange. Does anyone have any insights?

It’s possible that your ASIN was hijacked and the brand name was changed, it’s happened to us before. Sometimes overseas competitors use black hat tactics to either reduce competition or take advantage of a well performing ASIN to steal sales by either shipping generic versions or sending the wrong item/nothing at all. Sometimes they will also steal an ASIN and convert all of the data to a new product which is a massive head start in listing placement.
In our case, the brand that the ASIN was changed to was not approval gated, so all we had to do was send seller support a PDF copy of our product catalogue and our detail page changes were pushed through. Because the brand that your ASIN was changed to IS approval gated, you may/may not have the same ease of resolution we had. None the less, you should try exactly as mentioned and see if that helps.

Is the listing supposed to be for your brand?
Let Seller support know that.
Do you get the listing creation confirmation emails?
If so, provide a copy of that to seller support.
Make sure that you tell them that you created the listing in the appropriate category if that is the situation.

Looks like it was hijacked by a chinese seller. Very common. Gather and provide all proof you own the listing to Amazon Support.
