Children's Toys Test Report from an ISO 17025 Accredited Lab - Appeal
Dear All,
I began selling products on Amazon Canada last year. Recently, I purchased and listed several toy products. However, Amazon now requires an ISO 17025 Children's Test report from an accredited laboratory to list it, which is prohibitively expensive for all our products. I doubt all toy sellers in the marketplace provide Consumer Product Certifications (CPC). I'm unsure how to proceed. Should we request the report from our Chinese manufacturers? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, as I'm at a loss on how to move forward.

You will need to provide the testing reports or you will not be able to sell. I've long suspected many supply fake offshore reports as there are many products listed on Amazon that don't comply with toy regulations in Canada.

If you need test reports, you can contact your distributor. That’s what I do when I’m asked. Wherever you purchase your toys, they should have the necessary reports available for you.”
