Shipping multiple packages per same order. Anyone know how?

Hello Guys,

Does anyone know how to send multiple packages for the same order? Amazon only has one option to ship one package from what I have seen. Example, a customer orders 5 of my largest item. I need to ship in two boxes. Any ideas other than using amazon for on package and another carrier for the other? Has to be another way. I just don't know it.

Thanks

For a single item that requires more than one box, there is no good Amazon way.

Send a message to the buyer before you confirm and let them know how many packages and supply the tracking numbers for each. Also let them know that packages -- even though shipped together --- do not always arrive together. You must send this message before you confirm and enter tracking.

Also mark the boxes 1 of 3 / 2 of 3 etc

when you pirnt the label, you can chose how many items are in the package. If someone orders 3, but you ship just 1, change the number to 1. If they are different ASINS, unclick (or 0 out) the ones not in the package
