Other sellers sold different items in my ASIN and brought negative reviews.

My product got two negative reviews (by now and there maybe more) due to buyers purchasing from unauthorized sellers and getting different items. Amazon allowed those sellers to offer but didn't check whether they sold the same item. Amazon is bringing a bad shopping experience to customers!

And, Amazon's review team just rejected my report of these reviews. Due to 'not find that it qualifies for removal for violating our Community Guidelines'. In this case, there is no way to contact the buyer. No way to explain the details to your review team. Amazon's common customer service can help nothing.

Amazon, you are allowing unauthorized sellers to destroy my listing.

Hello @Seller_ZdV6hfU48bNfB

This is Christine from Amazon Forums.

In this case please know that customer reviews are for the ASIN itself not the sellers, if there is other seller selling the same product, and you are the brand owner what you can do is an infringement report.

Also, you can reply to the seller review and clarify the situation.

Other option is for you to prove that the seller is selling a different product with the information for this ASIN and report the seller.

However, we can not remove the review unless does not comply with our guidelines.

You can see them here

Hope you have a great a day.

Christine.

We encountered the same issue ourselves. Customers have contacted us reporting that they're receiving a completely different product, and the sellers even falsely claim it's our product despite their brand name being entirely different confirmed with photos from a customer

All these sellers operate under FBM, with some based in international locations like India. Additionally, they do not offer refunds as per customer complaints. It's disheartening that Amazon allows these sellers to list products under our ASIN without proper safeguards, leaving us with limited recourse. Their ratings range from average to poor, with some being relatively new. Last but not least, these sellers are not included in the authorized distributor/reseller lists

Initially, we attempt direct communication, urging them to prove that they are selling our products. Should they fail to comply, we resort to conducting test purchases to confirm their products are not ours before reporting them. Even then it would be best that they actually be prevented to list by way of proving that they are authorized by the manufacturer/brand to sell their products there's no problem to that but there's an issue when they can list and sell a completely different product.

I agree, been there done that before, its really a frustration. You need to register your brand and after a while (1+year) you will have the option to report a infringment, its a long process.

In the meantime, if the seller is not selling the exact same product, customer will badly review the seller and this will badly affect their rating, they dont really have a interrest in doing so.

Had the exact same thing happen. Amazon letting counterfeit sellers launch stores with 1000s of products from China. My products are consumable so there is no telling what the customer got. This opens up a HUGE liability to Amazon because I warned them these items were counterfeit and they would not do anything about it until a test buy was done which took over a month to receive.
