Fraud in the jewelry space continued
So the fraud in the space has grown.
Started with Moissanite lab created diamonds- at least the sellers priced these like moissanite though a Moissanite is not a lab created diamond and its fraud
Then it was sellers calling gold plated brass- 14K gold- here sellers are pricing the items like gold , selling earrings that wholesale for less than $10 for up to $99-
Then gold cross- same as above
Now wedding bands
Have purchased, and reported sellers
Never thought I would see the day that Amazon would not care about sellers completely ripping off consumers, violating Amazons own polices and FTC regulations.

Hello @Seller_nBUcRErQhJ4JW,
Thanks for visiting the forums, and thank you for stepping up and reporting these products and sellers to Amazon. I plan to send a message to the Jewelry Category Manager along with a link to your forum post and report the issue using your feedback.
Thanks for selling on Amazon.

Yap, I agree, it's getting worst all the time. The words "Simulated" or "Created " should precede the gem stone type in the title, instead it's buried somewhere in the page where customers will unlikely see it.
Also, listings are created with metal = Yellow Gold, and metal stamp = 925 on the same listing.
Which is it? @ $16.99 selling price, I would say neither.....

Look at this @SEAmod
https://www.amazon.com/Tesori-Co-Yellow-Comfort-Wedding/dp/B075G2LVSX
So we bought one its not stamped, its not 10K we reported it and yeah amazon removed one size of the ring in one color.
The catalog page says 10K the image is stamped 10K what they ship is not 10K
Go to the search page its badged "overall pick" so Amazon is promoting a listing that is ripping off customers.

The listing violates Amazon's own policies.
The brand owner is being harmed, the consumer is being harmed - Amazon is profiting.
Somethinig is very wrong

@SEAmod hoping this is progressing and didnt just fall through the cracks.

Hi @Seller_nBUcRErQhJ4JW
I am sorry for the delay in updating you. I handed this issue and the examples you provided me to the business teams for investigation. I have not yet received a response from them. Thank you for your continued patience.

@SEAmod unfortinately I am guessing they contintue to allow this fraud, and believe me I hope I'm wrong. Its not only hurting Amazon's customers by allowing these bad actors to rip them off, but honest sellers as well.
At some point it will come to a head. Amazon at this point knows about the fraud, profits from the fraud and enables the fraud.
I do appreciate your trying to push the issue to the proper channel.
Talk about a bad buyer experiene , imagine buying 14K gold earrings only to learn they are gold palted base metal and worth 20% of what you paid.

There are a lot of new sellers selling brass and silver and plating them yellow color to make it look like gold and marketing them as 14K gold. This is ruinning the integrety of sellers of real 14K gold earrings because of these fruadsters. Amazon needs to start an investigation into this to keep the trust of its customers.
Asin's below cannot be Real 14K Gold for these prices. As a jeweler with 30 years of experience the prices these earrings are being sold it is impossible for it to be real gold.

It is extremely disappointing that Amazon is ignoring this issue for so long. We have purchased pairs to prove they are not real gold, and nothing has come of it. We have created several reports of abuse but immediately receive a response that nothing is found.
I'm not sure how long it will take, but Amazon needs to understand that these Chinese companies are ripping off their customers by lying to them about plated gold.
Not to mention the impact it has on us real Fine Jewelry sellers. If you search 14k gold hoops, the ads are flooded with Chinese gold plated selling as real Gold. They have endless funds for their ads since they are selling hoops that cost $2 for $70.
Seller_nBUcRErQhJ4JW
@SEAmod we have purchased too. The intiial reply is there is no violation. We then escalate to SAS core which we are still part of for now and they have been able to have some listings removed. Sometimes they still say no violation.
So if there is no violation when you report it through the proper channels, that means Amazon approves of these bad actors?
You hit it on the head with the PPC ads. They can spend huge because they are selling $2 earrings for $70. This is high margin for Amazon , maybe thats why they dont shut it down
Look at what Pavoi sells gold plated metal for. Thats the real price or what they should be.
What about the hundreds of ripped off consumers, who think they bought 14K gold and received gold plated base metal , what will Amazon do for them?

How are branded fine jewelry sellers able to compete with all of these fraudulent Jewelry listings? After many years and hundreds of thousands of dollars on ads, we are being damaged by following the rules.
We just purchased another pair that was clearly fake as well. Another listing selling fraudulent jewelry to unsuspecting customers. The listing shows that they sold over 400 pairs in the last month!
Below is the listing that is advertising as real Gold, but is deceiving customers and selling fake gold plated. How is this able to continue on hundreds of listings of Chinese sellers?
Is there any update on an investigation into this issue?

I am surprised it is taking Amazon so long to stop this fake jewelry from being sold on its website. As many sellers mention we follow the FTC Listing guidelines and these new company are selling brass plated in yellow color as 14K gold and they are getting away with it. Amazon can test these products within a few days since it is in there warehouse but still has not done anything about it.
Seller_nBUcRErQhJ4JW
They dont even need to test. Do a bin check, and look for the stamp. No stamp and trademark and it fails, unless these sellers are exempt from Amazon's own policies. Or just message the seller from a buying account, these sellers will message back that the products are gold plated.
This is highly profitable for Amazon these guys have huge margins and if you look at sponsored products spend a ton.
The inventory is in Amazon's warehouse all they need is to do a bin check and if anything listed as 14K gold is nto stamped and trademarked remove the listings until they say "gold plated in the title"

@Seller_oYDcQSYtvcI39@Seller_nBUcRErQhJ4JW It has only gotten worse in the last couple of months, and even days. I guess we need to report the listings everyday in hopes that someone actually does something about this.
