Amazon Not Accepting my ISBN Code for Book I Have Authored

I'm receiving error code 8572 when trying to enter a book that I have authored. I've entered books before from the same batch of Bowker ISBNs (over the past several years), and those entered all right, and are up for sale. But this one won't enter. The batch of ISBNs I own were purchased about two years ago. This newest one got filled out at myidentifiers.com a week ago, but is part of the same batch.

I've opened four tickets, escalated each one, and after over forty emails, all I've received is generic messaging saying I have to enter my UPC in the GS1 database, which of course, for ISBNs, is not the answer. I've provided proof that I own the ISBN, photos of the book, photos of the ISBN on the book and inside, and a ton of other evidence. It is all ignored.

Amazon is unable to give me an actual response - I get the same message from support, before and after escalation, stating that I'm using an incorrect UPC over and over and over.

I did find one other post mentioning this same difficulty, but there was no apparent resolution.

Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do? If I need to wait longer to have Amazon find the ISBN, how long are people waiting? It seems like a week is far longer than it should take, and I'm not clear whether waiting will even work.

Looking for any help that can be given. Thank you for your time!

Hey there @Seller_mtkZsLE9fUawV- thanks for the post! I do see our team in Case 13615860571 sent an update recently with instructions on an update to the publisher name needed in accordance with the images on the book. It's important to note that things like this need to be spelled the exact same in order to flow through the Amazon system correctly.

Let myself or the team in the case know if you have any further questions on making that change!

Thanks,

Danny
