HELP - ISED and HVIN numbers
I bought bulk Ear buds, listed and sent them to Amazon as FBA. When I created the product, there was no compliance issue but one week upon reaching the fulfillment center, I got a compliance email to attach the ISED Certification number for the Product (Blue Tooth Earbuds). Is there a generic ISED Certification number for Bluetooth Earbuds? My supplier does not have it.
Could it be that I selected the wrong ASIN because I see a lot of other sellers selling this product? Getting an ISED Certification number in Canada doesn't come cheap at all.

Hello @AceSquad,
Thank you for posting your concerns with a restricted product policy.
Per the Radio Apparatus, Interference-Causing Equipment and Terminal Equipment policy in Canada, these products can consist of:
- smartphones, tablets, Bluetooth devices, cellular boosters, cordless telephones, FM transmitters, laptops, land mobile radios, smart home products, smart wireless chargers, two-way radios, wearables (such as smartwatches), Wi-Fi boosters, Wi-Fi routers and other LAN (Local Area Network) devices, wireless microphones, and wireless and Wi-Fi cameras.
If your earbuds have a Bluetooth feature to them, they will require an ISED certification to be sold on Amazon. As noted the supplier does not have this information so you may be responsible for obtaining them.
I would review the policy provided and confirm if your product meets the requirements to have an ISED, if it does these documents as mentioned will be required. Otherwise, you will want to deleted the ASIN in question and find the product and accurately describes your product and features.
Can you provide the ASIN you have concerns with so I can help look further in to the situation or offer what support I can.
As a precaution, I would advise fully verifying your products features, and the listing to ensure all attributes are listed. If we see a restricted product is listed in a way that avoids detection, it will result in the accounts immediate deactivation.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.
