FBA for .CA and FBM for .US marketplace?

Hello everyone,

Very new to this. my inventory shipment just arrived at the Canada warehouse. The plan was to do FBA for CA and FBM for US.

However, on the CA marketplace when I set the product on FBA - the same product in the US marketplace also changes to FBA.

Is there a way around this? When I do FBA for one marketplace, am I required to do so on the other too?

Thank you in advance.

You probably have the same SKU.

Create a second listing specific to FBM for the USA with a different SKU and you will be ok.

Make sure you assign a different SKU for each marketplace, that way your offers will be disconnected.

For example, FBA-item1 and FBM-item1 could be used as SKUs when you set up a product listing. It does mean creating two listing offers for the same product.

Hello! When you set up FBA for a product in one Amazon marketplace, it should not automatically change the fulfillment method for the same product in another marketplace. However, if you have linked your product listings across different marketplaces, changes to one listing may affect the others.

To confirm whether your product listings are linked across marketplaces, you can check your Seller Central account settings. Under "Settings" in the top right corner of the screen, select "Account Info" and then "Marketplace Management." From there, you can view and manage your linked marketplaces.

If your listings are linked and you want to offer FBA in one marketplace but not the other, you may need to create separate listings for each marketplace. Alternatively, you could offer FBM (fulfilled by merchant) in both marketplaces.

I recommend contacting Amazon Seller Support for more specific guidance on your account and product listings. They can review your account settings and provide guidance on how to achieve your desired fulfillment method for each marketplace.

Best of luck with your business!
