Canceled order

I see some orders is Canceled, Why is it? is the customer canceling the order? payment issue? ....

I see some orders is Canceled, Why is it? is the customer canceling the order? payment issue? ....

Yes, it's usually due to the buyer cancelling the order. They have 30 minutes after placing the order to cancel and the only way you see the order is if you notice it in pending before it goes away. I think if the buyer orders again, though, and you look at their other orders, those orders still show as cancelled. In addition, you can accept cancellations from buyers after the 30 minutes, or even set your orders to allow the buyers to auto-cancel them before they are filled for up to about 4 days maximum.

You should check the canceled orders occasionally though. Sometimes a canceled item won't go back in stock. I'm not sure if sometimes if you have 2 and the 1 order gets canceled that it will go back to 2, but I have had times with 1 go to 0, and doesn't go back to active with 1 in stock.

Buyers can cancel an order anytime after they make the purchase. No hit on your metrics. If YOU as the seller cancel the order you'll get a hit on your metrics and will be punished by the dreaded sprinkler program after that. I was about to pull the plug as a professional seller after a bad March 2024.
