Orders Showing as "Running Late" to Customer?!?

We our having some issues with our valid tracking rate, long story short, we were using Amazon's "Shipping Confirmation File" and Purolator tracking information was not being properly tracked. The issue should now be resolved, but we are getting complaints from customers that orders they have received are still showing as "running late" in their Amazon portal. Is there any way we can retrospectively confirm the orders, so they indicate the item has been shipped in the customer portal? I have been going back to the orders and reconfirming them, but I’m not sure if that is doing anything?

You can check out one of the many threads here about the Purolator mess, it is NOT resolved.
I don't use them myself, but can you steer them to check the shipment via Puro site rather than relying on Amazon? Just a thought.
