Has a date been announced for Prime Day, aside from sometime in July ?
My strategy is pretty simple, a week or two before I go through my inventory and markdown selected items for a limited sale period starting just before Prime and ending a few days later.

Most of our top products have been shut down by Amazon AI for Consumer Container Report testing that does not exist in Canada or apply to the product, despite providing proper documentation for appeal, it keeps getting rejected.
Have to play it safe all the time with Amazon, as you never know when your listing can get shut down or your FBA inventory stranded. Just in the last month, Amazon AI has misclassified 122 of our listings and shut them down for compliance that does not exist in Canada.
Even if Amazon says they will have your FBA inventory received by the deadline, there is a 50% chance that they won't, and it gets received after prime day. (mostly applies to Hazmat/Dangerous goods).
So it's hard to make prime day worth it, as you gotta have deep pockets to prebuy inventory, otherwise your wholesalers start charging you interest after 30/60 days on your NET30/NET60 accounts. Which makes prime day not so worth it with the FBA receiving delays.
