Items purchased a month ago are still showing as payment pending. Why?
Why are my FBA items marked as ordered but still show as payment pending? There are several that have been in that status for over a month! I'm concerned my buyers will either cancel the order or give me bad ratings over this.

Pending orders are on the buyer. It means Amazon couldn't verify their payment. Amazon notifies buyers through the messaging system when there is a problem but unfortunately, most buyers have no idea there is even a messaging system in their account. There is nothing you can do except wait it out.

Yes, one would think so.
Well that was a big mistake. This is viewed by Amazon as sales rank manipulation and is against policy. In fact, this is one of the worst infractions one can commit. Better cross your fingers.
Frankly, I'm not sure how the system even allowed you to do that.

On the Manage orders page, an order with a status of Pending might indicate an issue with the buyer's payment method or a convenience store payment method. In some cases, our payment and order detail verification processes can potentially extend order processing times for as long as 21 days.
If the order is older than 21 days Seller Support will be able to remove this from the account.
