Product ID entered is not valid.

Good day,

I am new to Amazon Seller, I am creating variation in color without brand name or Product ID as its hand-made items but its asking for External Product ID.

My Listing Brand is Generic, and I added 10 digit number for each color to identify my stock based on the variation color as an ASIN Type but its giving me an error "Product ID entered is not valid."

I understand you would like to create a variation without a brand name and product ID.

Please know that our policies require that all products list a brand name (except for books, media, videos and DVD/digital). If your product doesn't have a brand, then it should be listed under the brand "Generic".

Please see our policy below:

Amazon Brand Name policy

Also, all products require a product ID, however we have a process to list products that don't have any identification, please review the below help page as well about this:

List products that do not have a GTIN (UPC, EAN, JAN, or ISBN)

If you require any additional help, do let me know!
