Problem listing certain branded Items shows "Not Available"
I’m a new seller on Amazon and have been selling for about two months. I source my products from legitimate distributors, but I've encountered an issue when trying to list certain branded items, such as FUNKO POP. The listing shows as "Not available," and I’m not even given the option to submit invoices for ungating the brand.
I've faced similar issues with other big brands like Samsung and Philips. I'm wondering if this might be due to my account being new. For example, a friend of mine, whose account is over a year old, doesn't encounter this problem. He can list the same items and has the option to submit invoices for ungating.
Could it be that Amazon doesn’t allow new sellers to list these big branded items? If so, how long does an account need to mature before it’s possible to list these products? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Amazon and the brands themselves are removing "old sellers" one by one and are not accepting any new sellers. The trend is going more towards you having a business relationship with valid authorization to sell said brands.

I also wanted to share two help pages about around best practices when sourcing products to sell on Amazon.
Additionally, certain products, brands, categories, and sub-categories, we require sellers to obtain approval before listing products. The approval process may include document requests, performance checks, and other qualifications. To learn more about that process click here.
If you have worked with Selling Partner Support to try and further understand why your account may not be eligible to sell particular brands and/or ASINs with a brand (even if you have brand approval), feel free to share the CASE ID when you have a chance and we can start investigating for you.
Have a lovely rest of your week and I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Cheers, Cooper_Amazon

As I stated on your other thread ...
I suspect a combination of (secret) unwritten policy relating to a newer account AND Q4.
It's well known that many sellers try to pop in to make a bunch of $$; not all legit. This happens year round but Amazon can't risk it in Q4 where the volume jumps and the returns cycle is much longer.
