Help Needed: Amazon Wrongly Flagged Our Product as NHP Containing Minoxidil
Hey everyone,
We're hitting another roadblock with one of our products on Amazon Canada, and it's starting to get really frustrating. No matter how many times we reach out to Seller Support, we're just getting automated replies, and it feels like nobody's actually looking into our case.
Recently, Amazon pulled one of our cosmetic products, saying it's a prescription-only or pharmacy-only item containing Minoxidil, so they won't let us sell it anymore.
But here's the thing:
Our product DOES NOT contain Minoxidil or any other prescription ingredients. We don't make any health-related claims at all.
Here's what we've done to try and sort this out:
Labeling Compliance: We've made sure our product packaging clearly shows the label in both English and French, as per Canadian regulations. We've uploaded high-quality images of this packaging to Amazon—multiple times.
Documentation Provided: We've sent our cosmetic notification number from Health Canada, which confirms our product is strictly a cosmetic.
Constant Communication: We've reached out to Seller Support over and over to explain the situation, but we keep getting the same canned response saying our product contains Minoxidil and to upload the image of the product packaging.
We're looking for some advice:
Has anyone else dealt with their product being wrongly flagged for containing a prohibited ingredient?
What steps did you take to get Amazon to fix the error and finally get someone from seller support to really deal with the issue?
Any help or insights from anyone who's been through something similar would be super appreciated.
Thanks so much in advance!

Hello @Seller_4yDEUzjvQhoZX,
Thank you for contacting Amazon Forums.
I have reviewed this case, and found that the ASIN ending in 48WK is the one with this issue. Based on that, I have reviewed this and escalated the case to the team in charge of reviewing this classification.
I will keep you posted as soon as I hear from them.
