I received a suspicious email from Amazon. The email content asks me to provide my seller ID.
I just received 2 emails like this from Amazon.com but it looks suspicious. I wonder if it is fake? Although the email shows the domain as Amazon.com, I still find it strange. The email content asks to click on a survey link, then they ask for the seller account ID. If I remember correctly, Amazon never asks for this information. If anyone has experienced it, please share with me.

Hello @Seller_zMyusYJQwhvAe,
To verify 2 of the ways we may communicate with you about your Seller Account - the first would be via a Performance Notification - sent to only the email you provided in your account set up. You may view those messages by:
- From Seller Central - open the menu bars - top left corner
- Select Performance and slide over to Performance Notifications
The other was to view case responses:
- From Seller Central - select the Help button - top right corner - get help and resources
- Go to Case Log
- View messages from Seller Support in this area
If the email you are speaking of is not in either of these places, and you feel it seems suspicious:
How can I protect myself against fake emails?
Look into these help pages for best practices. Let me know if there is anything else you might need. Thank you for reaching out on the forums. The forums community and I are here to support you.
