I cannot cancel FBA order through the seller centre account

I checked my FBA orders today morning and one of them seemed to be a spam. The product that I’m selling for $38 has been sold for $1 ! How is that possible? I checked the product price and it was correct. I quickly contacted Amazon tech support and they said they cannot cancel this order. Instead I have to cancel it through my Manage order page. I was looking for “Cancel order” button everywhere but couldn’t find anything. Has anyone else experienced the same issue or maybe someone has an idea how to cancel FBA order.

FBA orders can only be cancelled by the customer, or seller support.

Check your transaction details to see what FBA fees / discounts were subtracted from that sale.

Support is telling you the wrong information. You can only cancel if you are doing the shipping. FBA is in amazon's hands.

I'm sorry you were given false information, because indeed, orders that only you can cancel are the merchant fulfilled. Whereas FBA orders can only be canceled by customer or Amazon.

I found an order for $1 CAD and see that payment is already completed for this and the order was purchased with expedited shipping, so it was already shipped and cannot be canceled.

The reason why this order came through is because this was a business customer and the business price added to this item was $1 only.

You can adjust this price for business customers by following the steps on the below help page:

Edit business prices and quantity discounts

Delete business prices and quantity discounts
