How to add my Canadian GST/HST Number to my seller account?

Hi there, I was wondering if someone could step me through where to go to add in my GST/HST business number to my account? I just need someone to tell me what page to go and where to add in the number. (I am now over the 30K threshold across all my platforms so need to add it).

I googled and found no info (or old info), and even reached out to Amazon Seller Support but got a canned response on how to register for the GST number (which I already have).

So could anyone explain it to me "like I am 5", my page under settings that says "Update Tax Information" does not have a spot to put the number in.

thanks for any help!!

Go to your sellercentral.amazon.ca/hz/sc/account-information

Click on VAT Information -- GST/HST are considered to be "value added taxes".

Do you have a professional seller account? If not, you need to upgrade from :individual" account status to input your tax info.

Once you logged into Seller Central on the far right corner at the top look for the (Setting icon) the Gear looking thing-scroll down to (Tax settings) and you'll see it says -Canada Tax Jurisdiction/ Federal Goods and Services/ Harmonized Sales Tax- with the section box to add your GST/HST number.

Make sure after you added your GST number you keep scrolling down to check off the Provincial Sales Tax (PST) for each Area just means Provinces that your selling in under the (Shipping/ Handling) section. Leave the (Gift Wrap) section unchecked unless you want taxes taken off for this. Note: the PST section, I'm not sure if this section Auto Populates on its own when you add your GST number, been for ever since I've done this. And please now that you hit the 30K mark please make sure you talk to a dedicated tax advisor just my two cents, I hope this helps all the best cheers.
