Is your item exempt from sales tax right now due to the GST/HST sales tax holiday imposed by the Trudeau liberal government?

Hello @Seller_iFzXrqb0ohzg8,

Thank you for providing the detailed information about order 702-9466482-4794614. Let me address each point:

1. Delivery Timeline:

  • Required delivery date: January 7th, 2025
  • Actual delivery date: January 8th, 2025
  • Result: Delivery was one day late, missing the promised delivery window

2. Regarding your points:

  • While proof of delivery exists, it confirms late delivery
  • The refund was processed after the promised delivery date
  • Even with GLS being an Amazon Authorized carrier, the delivery promise wasn't met
  • The January 9th window you mentioned isn't accurate - the promised delivery date was January 7th

3. Tax Issue: Please contact Seller Support directly regarding tax-related matters, as these are handled separately from delivery claims

Important: A-to-z claims can be valid even when:

  1. The item is eventually delivered
  2. A refund is processed
  3. An authorized carrier is used

For late deliveries, the claim validity is based on the promised delivery date, not subsequent actions taken.

Jurgen
