Navigating the Feedback Landscape: A Guide to the Feedback Manager
Feedback Manager is a tool provided by Amazon Seller Central that allows sellers to monitor their performance based on customer feedback. It provides key metrics like overall star ratings, positive and negative feedback percentages, and detailed feedback comments.
Dealing with Incorrect Feedback:
While you can't directly edit incorrect feedback, you can take the following steps:
1. Request Feedback Removal:
- Eligibility: The feedback must meet specific criteria, such as being inaccurate or unrelated to your product or service.
- Process: 1) Go to the Feedback Manager. 2) Locate the incorrect feedback in the Recent Feedback table. 3) Click the "Request removal" button.
2. Respond Publicly:
- Clarify Misunderstandings: If the feedback is based on a misunderstanding, a public response can help correct the record.
- Offer Solutions: If the feedback highlights a legitimate issue, offer a solution.
3. Contact the Buyer Privately:
- Resolve Issues Directly: Use Amazon's Buyer-Seller Messaging system to address the buyer's concerns privately.
Important Considerations:
- Time Limits: Buyers have 90 days to leave feedback and 60 days to remove it.
- Amazon's Policy: Amazon has specific guidelines for feedback removal, so not all requests are granted.
- Proactive Customer Service: Preventing negative feedback is often more effective than dealing with it after the fact.
By understanding Feedback Manager and taking proactive steps to address incorrect feedback, you can improve your seller rating and maintain a positive reputation on Amazon.
Thank you,
Joey
