Do I need to Register my T-Shirts

I have been trying to list my T-shirt and I was told I cannot continue with the listing because I don't have a brand registered. I've even tried listing without brand name with out success.

I design and print on blank shirts with the name of my company on the tag. Would I still need to register my company's name at the trade mark office in order to list my shirts at Amazon?

Please advise.

Its up to you. You have two options.

1. Register your brand name at the trademark office.

-Costs about $500 per year

-Receive brand registry benefits

-Receive Sponsored Brands advertising ability

2. Do not register your brand name at the trademark office.

-Try using your brand name when creating a listing on Seller Central and it wont let you. It will the prompt you to apply to use your brand name. You will have to provide "live images"(images taken with a smart phone), of your product and your brand name would have to be permanently affixed onto your product and they have to see it clearly. Wait about 24 hours after submission and they should let you use that brand name.

-You do not get brand registry benefits

-You do not get to use Sponsored Brands with ads. But its free.

Hello @Seller_xTbpFszDDuRSg,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I's be happy to assist.

@Seller_vSOOwekJLU6c0is correct (thank you), it is up to you. Your 2 options are register in Amazon Brand Registry or Apply to sell your Brand. Here are some resources for each to help you in your decision (Aside from what @Seller_vSOOwekJLU6c0has already provided).

Brand Application

Brand Registry enrollment

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions.
