    Amazon account verification for sole proprietorship

    I need help with account verification. I operate as a sole proprietorship. I am the only owner and I run the business under my own name. Amazon needs company Registration Extract to verify the business but CRA doesn't provide such documents. Please suggest

    We are in Ontario. Register your name as the business name, you will get a registration doc that you can supply to Amazon. Problem solved. You can do this directly with the ON government.

    Is your business name registered with the provincial government where you are located? We provided that doc and it was accepted as it would be linked to you.

    May I ask if you select the "privately owned business" to indicate yourself as a "sole proprietorship", then enter the Business number registered under your name, right?
