Recently we have seen posts around mouth tape and sellers asking how can they get their listings reinstated.
Amazon takes product safety and compliance very seriously, which is why we have a clear policy regarding mouth tape products. Mouth tape refers to tape or strips that are affixed to the mouth, usually covering both the upper and lower lips, to restrict the ability to open the mouth during sleep. These products are sometimes marketed for addressing sleep issues, disorders, or undesirable outcomes that can occur during sleep in order to regulate airflow through the nose.
Per our current policy, Amazon does not allow the listing or sale of non-compliant or prohibited products, including mouth tapes. This includes not only products explicitly marketed as "mouth tape," but also similar products like micropore tape, athletic tape, jaw tape, or medical tape that could be used for the same purpose, as well as any products that are visually similar and intended for use as mouth tapes during sleep.

I was hoping you can take a look at our listing and case and help out. Amazon took down my listing after it was up and running for a month. I asked seller support to change the category and that must have triggered Amazon to take a look at the listing and they took it down thinking it was mouth tape. My product is not mouth tape. They are nasal strips. Looking for help to get it reinstated. the compliance dept is WOEFULLY uneducated in the working of it's own policies. I had a light bulb zipper charm that was marked as having a battery. I provide all the information including the 6 side images and the design itself that I created. I had to go through seven appeals, 2 cases and forum moderator mediation TWICE before they had to talk to someone on the US side of the Amazon support to see that it was an error on their part.
It makes me so happy when they add new restrictions that we know will affect the seller instead of actually doing what it was supposed to do.
