Shipping CDs and DVDs in Canada Using Canada Post Letter Mail
I am an FBM seller and in the past I used Canada Post Standard Letter Mail to ship my CDs and DVDs. I read a few years ago that if you ship an item on Amazon below a certain value (I believe it was $40) then you can use standard letter mail. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is still the case as my shipping cost right now for letter mail is $3.25 and I cannot get better rates using UPS. In the past I made up unique tracking codes that logged all of the shipping information I had for the item and let customers know that the package is being delivered via Canada Post Letter mail.
Does anyone know if this is still allowed?

Exempted from VTR:
Small and light items that have order value less than $CAD 30 (including shipping charges) and are shipped in Canada Post Standard Mail envelopes or First Class Mail envelopes.
