How to get NHP license (NPN) to sell on Amazon

From what I learned from Quality Smart Solutions video about NHPs here's the 3 requirements to sell a NHP in Canada:

1. Get a Natural Product Number (NPN). This takes Health Canada 60 to 300 days. Make sure you upload the NPN license document from Health Canada to your Amazon account otherwise you'll get rejected.

2. Have a compliant and bilingual (French and English) label. Quebec is mostly French speaking. They account for about a quarter of Canada's population. If your label is only in English and someone in Quebec buys it, complains, the OQLF (Quebec language police) can issue fines, stop sale and notify the CBSA (Canada border agency).

3. Get set up with a Health Canada site licensed importer of record. This is a long process, taking about 9 months for Health Canada to approve the foreign manufacturer onto the importer's site license. We used Quality IMPORT Solutions for this. Without this there is a higher likely chance your product could get stopped at the border.
