AS i grow my business i want to make sure that I am sourcing all of my items from authorized distributors. Is there anyway for me to know which distributors and wholesellers Amazon will view as authorized? This whole thing is very confusing

Amazon isn't the one who authorizes the distributors, only the brand owner can do that.
All you have to do is contact the brand owner and they can set you up with the brand owner authorized wholesale distributors in your area to purchase from.

If the brand doesn't authorize your company to resell their product, then you can't resell their product.

If the brand works with a distributor, the brand would tell you when you contact them and they can get you set up with their distributor.
