What do you need to prove products you sell are CCCR 2001 compliant?
What do sellers need to prove their products (chemicals) sold in Canada are CCCR 2001 compliant and/or are following french language laws?
It's problematic when the ASIN is linked to sellers with non-canadian compliant products and sellers who have compliant product. You can't seem to complain to support about only the non compliant seller, they take down the whole listing and the legit sellers are no longer able to sell.

For CCCR 2001 Compliance (Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations):

- Laboratory test results from accredited facilities
- Documentation proving container meets required safety standards
Labeling Requirements:
- Hazard symbols (if applicable)
- Risk and safety information
- First aid instructions
- Product ingredients
- Contact information
For French Language Requirements:
Bilingual Labeling:
- All mandatory product information must be in both English and French
- This includes safety warnings, instructions, and ingredient lists
- Text must be equally prominent in both languages
Documentation to Maintain:
- Keep copies of all test reports
- Maintain current Safety Data Sheets
- Have translations verified by qualified translators
- Keep documentation of compliance reviews
Important Note: Amazon.ca reserves the right to request any of these documents at any time to verify compliance. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their products meet all Canadian regulations before listing.
For specific guidance, we recommend consulting Health Canada's website or a regulatory compliance expert.
