new search algorithm
My textbook sales have been almost non-existent since January. This is the first major sales drop I've had on Amazon for 17 years. Sales are off by 90% compared to the same period last year. My metrics are good, my feedback rating is 97% and my prices are competitive. I also lost the featured offer since January, although I've had it consistently for years. What is happening? I suspect it has something to do with the new A10 SEARCH ALGORITHM. Perhaps a MOD can look into it. If anyone has any knowledge/suggestions please let me know.

I have two sons in college, at different schools, and this past semester was the first one where neither of them had to purchase a physical book. Per their professors, everything was a digital book. Unfortunately for me the digital books are just as expensive.

If you're not Featured You Wont Sell Anything...Very few buyers look under "other sellers"...
My books are Better & Cheaper than the Buy Box But are Hidden from Most Veiwers...So I Mostly sell to professional buyers who know how AZ works...Or in cases where my book is the only one available..
