Canada Post Strike Workaround using FBA.........
hello. i am ship small packets by canada post lettermail. but now the post office may go on strike tomorrow. and i have like 30 orders sitting in my inbox from the weekend i did nt mail yet. they is cost me on average $4.00 in postage to mail........BC, AB, QC, and all over ON............so i am come up with a plan ========= which is to sign up for FBA, take all the little products i have orders for and drop them off at the amazon drop off center in mississauga......... come back home, use my normal amazon buying account and ship "gift style" the thirty orders to the thiry customers....... and amazon will FBA them thereafter............ then i will go into my seller account and mark the 30 orders as shipped........... can someone critique my strategy.......... especially the cost of shipping a small little packet by FBA........ i am guessing it is $4.00 ish same as the postage i am paying to canada post.........

Your not allowed to drop off in Mississauga. it will have to go by UPS or another courier. Amazon may designate another warehouse that it needs to go to. You don't get to pick.
This is a violation of Amazon drop shipping policy.
Amazon won't allow you to buy your own items on the retail site. It just doesn't add to cart. You have to use MCF (Multi Channel Fulfillment order process)
This needs to be done within your max 48 hour handling time with a tracking number
It's more than $4.00 and you also have to pay inbound for the box as well. MCF FBA orders are no where close to 4 bucks.
can someone critique my strategy..........
You won't be able to get the stuff received by FBA for at least a week, and FBA may require you to send your stock to warehouses on the other side of the country, not Mississauga, which could be a 2 week delay in receiving.
Amazon FBA vans and other Amazon carriers they use for FBA can not be used as integrated tracking for FBM orders so this will hit your valid tracking rate, and then customers will file A to Z claims and win, which may bring your order defect rate above 1% and get your selling account suspended.
