Accidentally signed up for U.S. account but now my brand is taken... by me.

I am from Canada. In the spring I accidentally signed up for a seller account on amazon.com and connected my pending trademark to brand registry.

When I realized, I closed that account and re-opened a new seller account on amazon.ca, but now it shows that my brand is already taken.

I am the sole owner of this brand. Seller support is not responding to my ticket.

How do I get my brand removed from brand registry so I can re-connect on my Canadian account ASAP?

Hello @Seller_ip6Rv8bgF4lmu,

Thanks for reaching out to the Amazon Forums about your brand registry issue. I can understand your frustration in having accidentally connected your brand to a US account, and now not being able to use it on your Canadian seller account.

Based on the information you provided, it sounds like you do have the necessary administrator access to manage the brand registry. My recommendation would be to escalate this directly through either Brand Registry Support or Selling Partner Support.

When you open a support case, be sure to clearly explain the timeline - how you accidentally created the US account and connected the brand, and now need to have it removed so you can register it on your Canadian account. Provide any relevant details like the account numbers and previous case numbers.

The support team should be able to investigate and assist you in removing the brand registry from the US account, allowing you to then add it to your Canadian seller account. They have the tools to make the necessary adjustments.

Please don't hesitate to share the new case number with me. I'd be happy to follow up and provide any additional help to get this resolved.

Looking forward to your answer,

Jurgen.
