Why Amazon always say brand name on msds and listing different
We have items which needs hand over msds file for Classification of dangerous goods. we are sure that. brand name on msds is our brand. and it is totally same as our listing. why amazon always reject and leave message:
**The product brand on the SDS does not match the product brand on the detail page**
Why amazon does not open msds file to check? when we creat case, and amazon staff told me lets wait.
however we have items have been destroyed, another 9pcs waiting for destroy, who can help me?
do you have idea to settle this problem?

Hello @Seller_h8a1Idh5bTww8,
Thank you for contacting Amazon Forums.
This is an excellent question and I see the Selling Partner Support team provided the answer already in the case ending in 20161.
First, let me answer your question: do you have idea to settle this problem? For you to solve this, you need to provide a MSDS with the correct brand name, including capitalization. The one you provided is different to brand that is registered. The difference is the capital K at the beginning of the brand name.
Please take a look at these resources, they will guide you and explain better the reason behind this request:
Help page Safety data sheet: In the section Required information it specifies two important points, which are:
- The manufacturer or brand name, as it appears on the Amazon detail page, must be the same must match the same as the product name shown on the SDS.
- SDS must be provided in the language of country the product is sold. If your product is sold in multiple countries, you are requested to provide an SDS in each of those countries’ languages. For example, if you sell the product in US and Mexico, you must provide an SDS in English and an SDS in Spanish languages.
Amazon Brand Registry Application Guide in the point 2.1, it states the following: What is your brand name? Please make sure to follow capitalization, spaces, and special characters used in your trademark application to ensure an exact match of the brand name. For example, if you register your brand name as “Amazon Echo” with a trademark office but you type “AmazonEcho” or “Amazon-Echo,” during the brand enrollment process, your application will not be approved.
If further details are required, do not hesitate in replying in this thread. I will be more than glad to help you.
