Canada FBA UPS shipping rates
Hello there! I’m wondering where I might find shipping rates within Canada to Amazon FBA Warehouses via the UPS discount? While I understand I can see rates by creating a shipping plan within Amazon Seller but that doesn’t help be to plan my shipments or predict my costs before I start. I would like to sell books and I cannot determine the cheapest way to box them if I don’t know what the rates are. For example, 2 small boxes of 25lbs versus a larger one of 50lbs. While I realize dimensions are important is there at least a ‘per pound’ table somewhere? (or per kilo) For example btw 0-25lbs is a certain price per pound when 25-50lbs rate might be cheaper. I’d also like to be able to enter my shipping rates more accurately into the Amazon Seller App so that when I’m scanning books I can assess my profit margins more accurately. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You won’t find the rates, but based on my experience and comparing the Amazon rate with the UPS posted rate, it is about a 75% discount. All you really need to do is to create and approve your shipping plan and then you can provide your weights and dimensions for your cartons to get the quote. You need to approve the quote before you are charged and have up to 24 hours to change your mind. You can try multiple boxes, as well. However, DO NOT go for a 50 lb box. There is a reasonable change that Amazon will see the weight as more than 50 lb and you will get a warning that could later lead to suspension. Amazon can reject cartons bigger than 25 inches per side or 50 lbs.
