Best domestic shipping rates

Hi there,

I usually do FBA but I’m planning to do seller fulfilled for some new products. All the products are pretty light but some of them exceeds the 2 cm height which means I can’t use Canada Post letter rates. I was in shock to find out that the lowest rate for a small parcel is 14.85 with Canada Post! Is that really correct or am I missing something?

Any advice for getting discounts with Canada Post? I already have a Venture One card. I was hoping for something with a deeper discount like a Group Buy service.

Thank you in advance

I’m a new seller, less than a month. I do FBM for now until the 90 probation period is over. My first two shipments I thought my only real option would be Canada Post Xpresspost, but with the strike, both shipments took way too long, and their rates were higher than when I had gotten estimates in the past. I googled alternatives and checked on here but couldn’t really find a company that services my area (BC) for Canada wide service. So thought I was stuck.
Then I saw a news article about the Canada Post strike and they mentioned a company I didn’t see in my google search, which was eshipper. I checked out their website for a quote to compare and it was about the same cost, a bit less, and didn’t show any detail, so I closed it and moved on. Next day I received a phone call from the company from a sales rep (Ali). He explained how they work which is basically they have a deep discount with all of the main couriers like UPS, Fed-ex, Purolator, etc., and when I punch in the to and from info it’ll display all options across the whole board. So they get a deep discount then mark it up a bit, and it ends up being way less than if you, as a small scale seller, went direct to them.
Anyways, later that day I got 2 orders, and tried it out. For both I got UPS Saver, which is overnight shipping, for less cost than Canada Post Xpresspost (which should be two days but has been over a week for my first two shipments…). So, just wanted to share for anyone else looking in Canada. Check eShipper out. Definitely best option I’ve found so far.

I will recommend getting professional seller account so you can modify you shipping template. and Your standard shipping charge has to be the same across Canada. You can’t set up different shipping based on region at this time. Also for a professional seller Monthly fees will apply. Also l honestly don’t recommend Canada Post letter rates Especially without tracking numbers

Also Welcome to being a Canadian seller with our high shipping rates, Men in the USA you can ship for a little as $2.77 with a tracking, In Canada is around $19.97.

Anyways I will recommend you check Shipvista… For Discounted Shipping label
