Amazon Violating Their Own Policy for Sourcing Cost
Hi everyone,
Amazon lost my FBA inventory before it was ever sold (damaged/lost at the FC).
Reimbursement ID: 18626637891
My sourcing cost is set at $4.71/unit in Seller Central [set by amazon]. However Amazon reimbursed me only $2.36/unit.
When I asked them to re-evaluate through seller support, they rejected it even though their own policy clearly says:
“For shipment to Amazon claims, removals claims, and fulfilment centre operations claims that occur before fulfilment, we will reimburse you the sourcing cost of the item.”
This is clearly a violation of their own reimbursement policy. Anyone else experienced this? Any luck escalating or getting FBA Support to actually follow the rules?
