We are the manufacturer of our products - What is my packing List supposed to look like?
Hey community!
Can any manufacturers out there show me an example of their Packing List? I keep getting this response:
"Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
I know that a quick resolution of our investigation is important to your business.
However, we're unable to continue our investigation because the documentation provided doesn't meet one or more of the requirements for acceptance."
Please let me know!
Thanks,
Gabby

Amazon is not looking for a packing list. You need to upload proof that you purchased your supply through an authorized source, such as an approved distributor or the brand itself (NOT a retail invoice).
Go to Seller University and watch the video about sourcing products. It will take less than 10 minutes and give you far more clarity on how Amazon works than the hours of YouTube and Tiktok videos by supposed Amazon FBA gurus.

Lost inventory? Since you manufacture yourself, you need to provide invoices for materials you purchased and cost of manufacturing

Hi @Seller_L9b5B1PhGeIK4,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums! Happy to see that other sellers have jumped in here to offer some advice.
As mentioned in the replies, you will need to provide the proper documentation in order to move forward with a shipment investigation.
Please note that in order for your proof of ownership to be accepted, the document must be the original invoice from the supplier or manufacturer and must include the following information:
- The date of purchase/packing
- Product name
- Quantity
- A signed packing slip if you are the manufacturer with the shipment or purchase order ID
- An invoice from a supplier including the full name and address of the invoice issuer and of the purchaser
You also may be asked to include a proof of delivery. For LTL or FTL shipments, this will be the bill of lading. This should include:
- The number of boxes in the shipment
- The total weight when picked up by the carrier
- An Amazon stamp confirming the shipment was received and signed for at the fulfillment center
For more information on this process, I would recommend reading through the following resources:
I hope this helps clarify! If you have any additional questions or need further assistance with this, please let me know.
All the best,
Jameson
