Why Amazon Charges FBA inbound placement service fee to Sellers?!

I need to express my frustration on the charge of FBA inbound placement service fee. Yes, I understand that "The FBA inbound placement service fee is the cost of spreading inventory across Amazon's fulfillment centers close to customers. The fee was introduced on March 1, 2024."

I recently requested Amazon to move Reserved Inventory to available for sale to customers because they had been just sitting somewhere for a long time but not available for sale with charging me monthly inventory fee. I created a case and they told me 49 units were shipped between fulfillment centers to make the goods available for sale.

Now, Amazon charges a fee on ME to move them between fulfillment centers. But this situation is completely beyond my control. I did NOT send my goods to nowhere to just let them sit and not for sale. I sent my goods were sent exactly where specified in the shipment. Amazon handled the goods after arriving at the warehouse. How Amazon needs to charge a fee on this? I just can't agree with the new introduced fee. Does anyone has the same opinion?
