Beware of Scam Sellers: How Unbelievably Low Prices on Amazon Can Lead to Disappointment

The seller’s link: https://www.amazon.com/sp?ie=UTF8&seller=A3L0OOR9VMMCCA indicates their activity on Amazon, but all feedback appears to be crossed out. This seller seems to be exploiting a loophole by listing numerous products at extremely low prices. Many buyers have reported not receiving their orders, raising suspicions that the seller may be using fake tracking numbers

As a result, consumers are lured in by the attractive prices but are ultimately left disappointed. It is perplexing why Amazon continues to allow such sellers to operate. This situation not only negatively impacts the shopping experience but also tarnishes the credibility of the Amazon platform. Consumers should remain vigilant before making purchases, carefully checking seller ratings and reviews to avoid falling victim to similar scams.

Crossing out bad feedbacks is highly misleading to customers. This is one that I saw today, foreign seller but not Chinese for once:

"please take down items you do not intend to actually ship. waste of time. multiple comments saying the same thing.

Message from Amazon: This item was fulfilled by Amazon, and we take responsibility for this fulfillment experience."

So is this seller-fulfilled prime? Because if it were FBA it shouldn't happen, right?

Seller_NxPuqak8YNJEF

the crossed out seller reviews and message "Message from Amazon: The fulfillment issues associated with this order were not due to the seller" usually means the products were sent by FBA. However, none of the products the seller has listed are selling are sent by FBA, and all are listed as shipped from China, so they probably have a friend or relative in China Amazon who is fixing things for them.

Unbelievably Low Prices on Amazon Can Lead to Disappointment

Especially to other sellers when the impossibly low, low price triggers the "Violation of Amazon Marketplace Fair Pricing Policy" bot.

Usually from china and they list shipping date like 60 days out and when customers purchase they instantly mark shipped and get paid wile customers must wait until days after the original shipping window passes it is a good scam even if you report Amazon will do nothing but at same time Amazon will attack legit sellers price fixing items trying to force items lower or suppress.

@Seller_NxPuqak8YNJEF said exactly what I was thinking. Except when FBA claims responsibility it says Message from Amazon: "This item was fulfilled by Amazon, and we take responsibility for this fulfillment experience." I have never seen that on feedback removal before. Maybe it is some new black market bot that can hack Amazon and do this like the fraud reviews.

We are facing the same problem; Amazon is categorizing it as an IP issue, but that’s not the case. Customers are receiving products that are completely different from what sellers in India are offering, and then these products are being drop-shipped within Canada, where we are experiencing this issue.

It's absurd that Amazon requires a test purchase but then refuses to refund us because the item is marked as non-refundable. Many of our customers have purchased items, received the wrong products, and then contacted us, claiming we scammed them.

Additionally, they undercut our prices by listing cheaper products, which allows them to win the buy box. It’s incredibly frustrating because we previously had another seller removed for listing a product that was entirely different, only for the same seller to reappear under a different name the very next day. This has resulted in significant lost sales with no assistance from Amazon.

Yes, we conducted a test purchase before, but we couldn’t even get a refund because the sellers either "disappear" or are removed immediately afterward. There is virtually no protection for those of us who adhere to the rules.

Insiders at Amazon. The company is teeming with criminal insiders taking bids from unscrupulous companies to shut down competitors (or even just make things inconvenient for them) for a price, remove feedbacks, etc. A lot of them aren't just freelance criminals following a guide, they are actual members of international criminal gangs/organizations. Amazon not dealing with them shows how afraid they are to. The only way to get away from them is abandon Asia, and given how much of their money is made from cheap garbage items made with Chinese slave labor they don't have much incentive to. When they actually get enough evidence to fire any there's a new batch coming in.
